Clifford Road Air Raid Shelter

In 1989 workmen were working at Clifford Road school in Ipswich when they discovered the sealed entrance of the old World War II air raid shelter. To everyones surprise the tunnels were in first class condition.

Over the following years volunteers have developed the museam into a fascinating collection of everyday memorabilia of that era.
