Airfix De Havilland Tiger Moth Kit Review (1:72)

Probably the most famous bi-plane trainer of all time. I would say that most if not all of the RAF pilots in the 1930s early 1940s trained on the Tiger Moth.

Known for its superb handling and forgiving nature. The Tiger Moth is an aviation legend.

With its first flight in 1931 the Tiger Moth served the RAF well in its training duties. Over 1000 Tiger Moths had been delivered to the RAF by 1939. Powered by a 120hp gipsy engine the Tiger Moth was a joy to fly.

Final RAF production exceeded 4000 aircraft. Many were used post war by flying schools across the UK and abroad.
