Silk Screen Printed Decals

Quite a few people have asked what the difference is between ''Silk Screen'' and ''Digital Silk'' decals.

Basically ''Digital Silk'' is a cross between the traditional ''laser'' and ''silk screen'' printing process.

Printed using a similar technology as laser printed decals ''Digital Silk'' prints white as well as the usual colours.

This allows printing onto clear decal paper for liveries that requiring white.

Using the standard laser printing method we would have had to use white and clear decal paper to get the same result.

A good example would be the red, white and blue roundel decals for RAF aircraft.

I hope this helps but if you have any more questions drop me an email or give me a call.

Regards,

Terry.
